hi,
when I restore files (from tape or *savf) the last change date/time is changed to the restore date/time.
Is there any parm on the restore that would keep the original date/time?

Not that I know of. Sorry. If you have IBM support, I suggest giving them a call. There may be something you can do to reset the last change date using an API or TAATOOL or something else.
